Monday morning I called back the number I was left.
I was asked standard questions. “where did you last see her, when did you last talk to her, was she scared of anyone…seem nervous, did anyone want to hurt her?” I gave them pictures, a copy of all my emails, and lots of phone numbers I had. They said there was nobody matching that description in their missing persons database, but they would look into the picture. Sounded very disinterested, and I’m not keeping my hopes up.
I got another call from someone who owes me a favor. I’m supposed to call him back tonight.
